No you dont, as a dynamic mic it wont need one. You only need one for condenser microphones as they are allot more sensitive to vibrations from the pc or monitor whatever youre using.

I saw that the Shure MV7 podcast mic was voted the best for vocals and I think over all multi use I have the Shure MV7 It is a great mic it is amazing sounding and quality as you would expect from Shure :)

Short answer is you can but you will run into impedance match issues. This mic is dynamic so there’s no need for 48V Phantom Power. My advice is for you to buy an external audio interface with at least one preamp (XLR input) this will do the job. Nowadays you have decent ones at relatively affordable price tags. Hope this helps
