Great price for a bag.
Hard to find these in any common hardware stores. These are a "must have" if you have well water or questionable city water. You do not want rust, sand, etc in your washing machine valving system. Hundreds of dollars in repairs.If the strainer does not fit your washer correctly, simply cut off the little handle and install that end into the port first.You can rinse these out for several yrs. But eventually iron water will plug them up. Just pitch it, install new.

Just like the original
These work great on our whirlpool washer. The original filter on our whirlpool washer, hot water inlet, where the hose connects to the washer was plugged up. The washer didn't get any hot water. I didn't know the washer even had water filters before this. I did learn the old filters seem to deteriorate over time and become brittle and are pretty much destroyed when pulled out so reuse isn't likely. Get these before you start the project. Very easy to replace.

Seem to be working well
Bought to change out the filters on our washing machine as I had broke one by accident when removing it. These work just as well as the originals. A little bit tinier than the ones that were in the washer, but not much. Easy to remove and replace. Have also removed them to clean off the build up from the water pipes. Did not know there was a such a thing in the washer as the water where we live now is hard and had not been ran much after the pipes froze and were replaced and washer kept flashing a code when it was ran.
