This color is really fun! It works as described, and comes out very easily when you wash your hair. Just be aware that it's a metallic gold, not a natural blonde. It's very pretty and fun when you want to change things up a bit or for a special night out. I wore it to work one day--why not?!

Not sure how I would rate this yet. I was surprised to see that it had a metallic look to it very synthetic, and although I know it is vegan it looks super shiny and not gold. I’m just not sure what I expected but certainly not for my hair to have a Shiny gold look to it. I’m on the fence about this one. It gets messy so wear gloves and use a towel and let it fully dry.I didn’t notice a smell at all.

It looks great! It seems more like a metallic yellow than a true gold color but it could be due to my dark black hair. Be warned, if you leave it in for more than a day you will get gold sparkles on everything your hair touches. Ordered this item for Halloween when the As I Am color gel didn't even show up in my hair. Will definitely buy again in the different shades that this brand offers!

I read a lot of reviews that said “this stuff gets all over” etc. i actually didn’t purchase it for curls so I was a bit skeptical. I have copper hair with highlights but wanted more shimmer so I got copper and gold. I ALWAYS spray my hair with a heat protector leave in after I wash my hair and there’s a reason this product says to do so. I then used it just like I would my pomade, very liberally through my damp hair and blow dried it normal. It def left shimmer but I wanted more. So I picked random pieces and alternated gold and copper. LET IT DRY!! That is my biggest advice. I did not have it get all over, only my hands. I absolutely love it

This is a great brand w/easy application. The color can transfer very easily so be careful what you wear w/it. All the other colors are great but the yellow made my hair look yellowish green. Not good for darker hair colors.

I made the mistake of using henna on my brown/grey hair after it came in from losing it from chemo. I was excited to try something temporary that didn't container chemicals. The rose gold on my lighter red henna looked okay (hence the 2 stars). The copper barely shows at all, but the gold on my auburn henna colored hair looks terrible. My boyfriend said it looked like Halloween glitter. It doesn't lighten dark hair. If you do buy it be sure to wash it off of your forehead if you have short hair like me and need to get it as close to the scalp as possible. It is not a soft gel when using it on short hair that does not need to be blown dry. Over $5 to return an item that cost me over $21 after tax. I'm sorry I bought anymore of it. I

Just got and tried out the gold color of this and albeit I’m a male who already colors they’re hair non curly hair at home I wanted to try to color over the sorta bleached greenish blonde hair I have now; Let’s see the smell is fine smells like any other hair color/dye, the color is so pretty, problems tho the formula of the gel is so odd and gets everywhere so I’m worried about it staining hand and face towels (along with my forehead) as well it’s odd cause granted I currently don’t have a leave in conditioner to use but it seems like the product starts to slip with any form of moisture ie sweat. I love the color and feel of this but I’m not sure if I would repurchase this again especially it being temporary coming from someone who prefers the look of a permanent/semi permanent hair color but that’s just me
