This is an over the counter supplement. My Dr. ordered 800 mg and the highest doseage I could find at my local drugstores was 200mg which meant I had to take four of the capsules. Fortunetly I found the 800 mg on Amazon. Taking one of these is much more palitable than taking four. Thank you Amazon

I've been taking the Alpha Lipoic for the past 2.5 weeks, no negative reactions, feels ok, will continue with this regimen. I do notice that I sleep better.

I feel like this supplement is good quality and does what it promises to do. I read up on it first and was selective of the brand and this has been as it claimed.

These product seems to be just fine, and I will use it. However I do wish it had more information about the source of the ingredients as well as third party verification of both the purity and testing for safety.

I have been researching the effects of Alpha Liopic Acid (ALA) and its benefits regarding cellular health and energy production. I kind of view as a B12 pill but it does have additional ingredients such as B1 and Ubiquinal which are not included in my other supplements so I feel these are beneficial being included in the product. I don't have any noticeable adverse effects when I take them. As far as energy I do feel some days where I have an increase in energy levels but I'm not sure if that is the ALA or the extra cup of coffee I sometimes consume in the morning! I do feel good about taking this supplement.
