No aftertaste for me...
I haven't experienced an aftertaste with this sweetener, so I'm satisfied with that.

I like this better than Monk Fruit
I find this to be sweeter than Monk Fruit and the taste is right on target. I have only used it on oatmeal and have not cooked with it, but I will purchase it again.

great
The AluSweet Tagatose + Stevia Natural Low-Calorie Sweetener is a versatile and health-conscious sugar substitute that caters to a variety of dietary needs. After using this product, I’m impressed with its taste, functionality, and health benefits. This sweetener combines tagatose and stevia, two natural, low-calorie sweeteners that provide a healthier alternative to sugar. The sweetener is designed to replace sugar at a 2:1 ratio, meaning you use half the amount of AluSweet to achieve the same level of sweetness as sugar. This makes it cost-effective and easy to use in recipes.

still taste the stevia after bite
I wished the stevia taste didnt come through, I still use it because the alternative, which really tastes like sugar has erythritol which there is question if it not good for you. out of the ones I have tried this one is the better tasting so far. who knows maybe one day they will improve on the stevia they use

Best sugar substitute I have ever tried
This is a review of: AluSweet Tagatose + Stevia Natural Low-Calorie Sweetener - 12oz 2:1 Replacement - Prebiotic, Keto & Diabetic-Friendly, Gluten & Lactose-Free, Sugar Substitute, Ideal for Baking, No AftertasteI’ll admit, I was skeptical of the claim in the ad that there is no aftertaste to this product. However, I was pleasantly surprised that this product tastes pretty much exactly like sugar. There is no hint of bitterness like there is with most artificial sweeteners, or sugar substitutes. I, in fact, detected no aftertaste, even when I was specifically paying attention, and when I ate some of the artificial sweetener plain.Taste: the taste of this product is pretty much exactly like sugar; I almost can’t tell the difference. There is a little bit of a richer flavor to it, almost like a hint of maple syrup type flavor. However, I don’t feel like this detracts from the flavor at all.Texture: the texture of this is very fine, a lot like super fine sugar. It is not quite as fine as powdered sugar, but it is pretty close. The texture makes it dissolve quite quickly in liquids.Uses: Because of its similar taste to sugar, this should work for most uses, including mixing it into beverages, putting it on fruit, or using it in baked goods. I haven’t had the opportunity to bake anything with it yet, so I am not sure if it will retain its flavor after being heated. I am also not sure yet, if it will hold up well into a baked recipe, but I intend to try that next.Container: the container this comes in is a thick plastic bag, and is the one negative factor about buying this product. The package was quite easy to open, but it doesn’t want to reseal. It does have the type of track like in a zip lock bag that would help it to reseal, however it doesn’t work very well. I wasn’t able to get it sealed again, and I had to put it in a large plastic bag in order to keep it from spilling everywhere.Cost: This product currently costs 9.90, on Amazon, in September of 2024. This seems like quite a reasonable price to me, and compares favorably to many other mixtures of artificial sweeteners. Conclusion: this is the best tasting sugar substitute that I have ever tried, and I have tried a lot. Sucralose has a bit of a bitter taste to it, as does monk fruit. Stevia tastes super bitter to me. Erythritol tastes pretty good but doesn’t dissolve well, and has the strange cooling effect (like mint) after you eat it. Allulose is one of the better ones. It compares favorably to all the others. To me, it doesn’t seem to have any weird flavors or aftertastes to it, and it dissolves well in liquids. Having tried pretty much every artificial sweetener or sugar substitute on the market, this is my favorite so far.

Tastes Just Like Sugar
Great for sweetening coffee. Tastes pretty much like sugar, sweet without any stevia or other aftertastes. It feels a little softer than the regular sugar I use, but dissolves easily. One of the best sugar substitutes I've ever used! The packaging is sealed airtight, so I had to allow for the sugar to fall down after I cut off the top and opened the package. The resealable track is really difficult to close, was a little easier after I dug a bit of sugar out of the track with my fingernail.
