High performance OLED
I was looking for a 34" 240Hz with OLED to upgrade my old Dell ultrawide and this is one came up in my searches. I was worried about the 800R curve being too aggressive coming from a 1800R but actually difference is not that noticeable, in fact I love the more immersive curve of the LG and I no longer turn my head to see the far edges of screen like I used to, it sort of wraps around my field of vision in a more natural way. The OLED is really nice, the blacks are great, colours are deeper, images have better 3D perspective, it's a huge step up from a regular led screen. I think the monitor likes to be driven hard as on low FPS it flickers a bit, but as soon as I play any content the screen becomes super stable, this might be linked to the onboard "oled-scree-move function" in the control panel which together with screen saver and auto image cleaning should prevent burn-in! Talking about FPS, this is definitely a monitor to match a high power PC, old Dell at 144hz was bottle-necking my new RTX 5080 setup while the LG feels perfectly at home with it. The white model was discounted down 48% so it didn't take me long to click the purchase button and I think a 21:9 monitor, Oled, 240HZ at this price is a phenomenal deal. Recommended to all serious gamers!

Well worth it.
I can complement the image quality enough. I had a decent display before, but this is a new level.

Disgraceful Quality and Even Worse Customer Service (from LG)
I bought the LG UltraGear 27GS95QE thinking I was investing in a premium OLED gaming monitor — but not only did the monitor develop serious issues after just 2 months, LG's customer service has been absolutely shocking.Major Product Issue:• After just weeks of use, horizontal banding appeared across the screen — making gaming and even day-to-day use unbearable. This wasn’t a minor blemish — it looked like a clear panel fault.• I’ve been incredibly careful with this monitor. I haven’t even touched the screen. It sat on a clean desk in a climate-controlled room. I treated it like glass.Customer Service: A Complete Joke• I raised a ticket with LG and waited over a week to even get a proper response. No urgency, no follow-up — just silence.• When they finally got back to me, I was told I’d need to pay for a repair. This is two months into ownership of a £££ monitor, with a clear manufacturing defect, and after treating it with extreme care.• Their tone was dismissive, with zero accountability. No offer of a replacement, no courtesy, and no urgency — just a cold "send it in and pay for it" attitude.Unacceptable from a Brand Like LGI expected better from a company that claims to be a leader in display technology. What I got was a defective monitor, appalling customer support, and now I'm out of pocket unless I fight to prove I didn’t cause the issue — which is ridiculous.Do Not BuyThe LG 27GS95QE might look good on paper, but the panel reliability is highly questionable, and if something goes wrong, you’re on your own. No product at this price point should fail this quickly — and no customer should be treated the way I have. Avoid at all costs.

So I'm coming from a 34'' ultra-wide IPS screen also from LG. That monitor was very good, but this OLED has blown it out the water !The colours, contrast are superb and the near instance pixel response and high refresh rate make for an outstanding gaming experience.I honestly don't know why some go on about the supposed 'aggressive' curve, trust me it really isn't , its bang on imho. The text could be a little better , but I dont do much work on it tbh. Really its what I'd expect from this resolution. No banding etc touch wood !Very very happy with this !

Shame it is now on offer
I really like this monitor. Whats a shame is that amazon reduced the price a day or so afterine was delivered. This was rather annoying, while I would be happy to keep it. I simply cant stand the idea that i paid over what its worth. A sad day but the monitor itself was great in the day test it had it up for.

Amazing picture quality, worth the premium
I was initially dubious given some of the other more negative reviews - but these all seem like manufacturing defects or otherwise unrelated to 'actual' performance of the monitor; I bought through Amazon directly (as the seller). This is an absolute night and day difference in image quality compared to my old IPS panel (which wasn't curved), and the size and curve result feel perfect for my desk set up. Works incredibly well with very little calibration on the monitor itself, I've just been using Windows 11 AutoHDR.Settings are great and intuitive to navigate for brightness and gamma control (though my last monitor was LG, and had similar controls) and cables are provided for both DisplayPort and HDMI, as well as for the USB hub; I really can't fault what is provided in the box which is great given the price point.Assuming you're happy with not going all the way to 4k at a similar price point, this feels like the biggest upgrade I've had since moving to 1440p for overall quality.
