I've had this articulating borescope for a few weeks now, and it's proven to be a pretty handy tool. The two-way articulation on the camera tip is definitely the key feature here – it’s made a noticeable difference when trying to inspect awkward areas, like behind panels or down in an engine bay. You can actually steer it where you want it to go, which saves a lot of frustration.The picture quality from the camera is clear enough for most inspection work, and the LED light at the end is sufficiently bright for dark spaces. The 5.5-foot probe length gives decent reach, and the relatively slim 0.33-inch camera head fits into some surprisingly narrow openings.It feels sturdy enough for regular use, and having the screen built-in makes it easy to see what you're looking at on the fly. The included case and memory card are a practical touch, so you have everything you need to get started.Overall, if you're looking for a borescope that offers good control with the articulating tip and delivers a usable image, this one has been a solid performer for me. It does what it's supposed to do, and does it well.

Been doing a bunch of small project stuff around the house lately and figured a borescope might come in handy.This one replaces a phone-based one (wifi) that I tried and was too laggy. This one was significantly better for the price. Many other name-brand variants cost more and offer less, imo. Used it to check inside a wall and under some sheathing in the attic, worked great both times. Picture is clear enough to see what you need and the lights are super helpful, you can adjust the brightness easy. Cord is semi-rigid but still flexible enough to snake around corners if you’re patient. The articulating part is useful. I wish it did in 2 dimensions, but that would be even more $$, and for this price, I can't really argue.This is one of those tools you won’t use everyday but when you need it, you’re gonna be glad you have it.

Nice inspection camera that can turn back on itself in opposite directions. The device is well build, feels sturdy, is responsive, and comes in a nice case. I wish the case had harder sides to prevent compression damage, but it's still nice to have and makes storing this device way better. The camera quality is great and the image is clear. It can take pictures as well as record video. The dial is responsive and it's easy to make accurate adjustments to the position of the camera. The cable isn't the longest, so this is most suited to short runs and close work. There are other devices available with longer camera cables, but this is good enough for a lot of applications.This device is useful, but it's not without small quirks that I wish were fixed at this price point. First, the probe does not stay on the same plane when bending side to side. The camera field of view is skewed from the pivot point, so moving the probe side to side with the wheel will make the camera angle either elevate along a 30° line, or depress along a 30° line. Think of it as looking straight ahead, then moving your head up and to the right, and then down and to the left. That is how the camera behaves. Maybe it's like that for a reason and has benefits, or maybe it's just a quirk in alignment. Second, the temperature of the camera probe is displayed on the screen to monitor how hot it gets, but I was unable to find a setting to change the unit to Fahrenheit. It is perpetually stuck in Celsius, which is a big oversight for a device of this price being marketed and sold in the United States. It would take very, very little work to add a toggle in the options, but the manufacturer did not do it. Third, I wish there were more options to flip or mirror the display. It can rotate the screen image 180°, but sometimes I like more options to help orientate myself when watching the screen and would like to have had a flip option.Overall, it's a neat inspection camera with some quirks, but none that are deal breakers.

Purchased for my husband. I have no idea what it is or what it does but he says its awesome-so I count that as a win!

I have one of these that doesn't articulate. It's helpful, but difficult to manipulate in tight areas (which is what it's for?). Getting this articulating model has helped SO MUCH. No it's not perfect (it does articulate at an angle as another review said), but dang is it better than the ones I'm used to! Picture is good up close, but if you're looking far away it doesn't focus well. But the tool isn't made for distance shots anyway, so i'd say this isn't a drawback. Seems well made (esp the snake part itself), and battery hasn't needed charging yet. Now I'm just waiting for one that articulates in two planes!

this makes it a prefect tool to work on the piping and work on the car. the screen is very clear and color reproduction is great. the dial control to turn the camera head is very smooth and responsive with little play. overall operation is very stragith forward, i do not need to read the manual to figure it out thats how easy it is to use it.

This camera-baroscope is of excellent quality, it is comfortable to hold in your hand. The camera at the end of the extension rotates in different directions, which is very helpful when using. There is a case for storage. You can take a photo to record the problem. The kit includes a hook that clings to the end of the extension and you can use it to pick up a fallen part. The kit also includes a pair of gloves and a charging cord. This thing is worth its money.
